I believe they are moving away from the old sync protocol, the same one they used for outlook pre-2013 here you had to use a hotmail connector (deltaSync). It is distributed by the same bundling and drive-by download techniques as the parasites it claims to remove, so definitely qualifies as unsolicited commercial software in itself. Problem is widespread... I didn't realise it's default settings were to delete emails from the server once downloaded, so due to WLM not working, I now cannot access all of my old emails on
I can't find anything about it searching the web either. And apparently there is not rhyme or reason to which ones remained on the server and which ones did not.
